The representation of naked bodies in art goes back very long. Already in Antiquity, artists represented bodies in many ways, women in particular. Sculptures, paintings, many works are today very famous. Nowadays, I tend to believe that people are not comfortable, and are mixed as to qualify it as "art." For me nude art is to highlight the body, to show all its beauty. Emphasize the fact that each body is unique, with its own curves and lines.

Can you tell us about your roots, about growing up ?

Well, I was born in the south of France, Nîmes, near Marseille, on 28th February. I grew up with my parents, my big brother and our dog. I remember our house, and our garden where I loved to play in. We had this basin with fishes in it, and when I was a child I thought it was my own swimming pool.
I grew up with my grandparents also, they were very present for uss. They learnt a lot of things to me, especially playing cards. I slept at their home very often like once a week. I have lots of memories of this period of my life.

What were your childhood / teenage dream? What did you want to become ?

Literally, my childhood dream was to fly. I really dreamt of being a kind of angel with big wings, and fly to travel the world. Indeed, in a more realistic way, I really wanted to travel, visit and explore all the continents on Earth. I would love to be an animal healer, take care of them, protect and make people aware about their cause.

Any idols during the teenage period?

I was completely fan of Britney Spears. I had my walls covered with posters of her, all the cd's, her movie and all her concerts in video also. I learnt all the lyrics and I loved to sing and dance like her in front of, my mirror.

When did you start with modeling? Can you recall your first photo session ?

My very first photo session was on February 2017 but I honestly wasn't at ease with this. I prefer to say that I started modelling at my second session, on 18th March. It was on a studio. I had met the photographer some days before in a bar. We had a friend in common, that's how he found me, and explain a little why I trusted him. He was very nice with me, kind and respectful. We made a fashion shoot to begin, dressed, cause I really had to feel at ease. As the session going very well, we made pictures of me naked. I was less modest than I thought I would be. It was actually a very pleasant experience.

Most interesting photo session so far ?

Photo session is like a human adventure to me. Of course, it's about the body, the face, the attitude etc... but it's also to meet people. And that's what I like about this too.
It's very difficult for me to say which session was the more interesting because so far, I had lots of shooting with amazing people and results very nice. I would chose my session with Philippe Giralt. I followed him on Instagram and was in total admiration for his work. One day he just went on my profile and contacted me. I was very happy. We planned a session in a river, very cold but I was so excited to work with him. This photo session is interesting for me cause he gave me some advice as a model. We also had a kind of connection : we talked about our life stories to each other , we became very close due to these confessions. We are like friends now. We made two sessions together but I really want to have more.

When did you realize that implied nude / art nude photos will be your next step like a model ?

Actually, I realized I wanted to make art nude photos as soon as I started modelling. I had a real hang-up about my body. I took pictures of myself for two years and published them on an anonymous blog, in order to accept my own body with its flaws and imperfections. So it was quite obvious for me to make nudes with photographers.

Who is in charge when it comes to posing during the photo session - you, photographer or both of you are involved in process of creation ?

We both are involved, photographers and I. As I have just a little experience, they tend to guide me a lot on how to pose, but I also know which posture is to my advantage.

Favorite lingerie during the photo session ? Do you choose lingerie or it is on photographer / whoever is in charge ?

I'm content with very little! I like wearing just a bra with its well-matched panties, whatever the colour, even if I have a preference for white lingerie. Concerning the outfit, we agreed with together beforehand on which clothes we will use during the session.

Can you explain to our reader's nude art from your point of view ?

The representation of naked bodies in art goes back very long. Already in Antiquity, artists represented bodies in many ways, women in particular. Sculptures, paintings, many works are today very famous. Nowadays, I tend to believe that people are not comfortable, and are mixed as to qualify it as "art." For me nude art is to highlight the body, to show all its beauty. Emphasize the fact that each body is unique, with its own curves and lines.

There is still some kind of stigma when it comes to nude art. Why is that, what do you think ?

About this, I would feel almost angry. Many people have the wrong tendency to confuse nude with pornography. They quickly make the leap nude equals porn. Many models, like me sometimes, are badly treated, misjudged in relation to the photos they make. These people are shocked by simple naked bodies, but the uncountable number of real shocking images that we see passing through the networks does not seem to outrage them. And there are also the bad beliefs of some men who think that we are easy girls, open to all propositions. It's something that puts me deeply out of my mind.
There are so many frustrated, sad, and jealous people in our society who dream to be like men and women we see everywhere in the magazines. I really wish that nude art ceases to have a bad reputation and on the contrary be considered as a real way to fight all these feelings that many women and men face up to.

What was the reaction from your friends when you published first nude photos ?

Well, they were all proud of me. They have heard my complains about my body for years and were very happy to see that I finally got through this. I also have congratulations from a friend who was quite admiring, she dreams to accept herself too.

What would be your advice to young girls who would like to start modeling career ?

I think there are two scenarios. Concerning girls who really want to have a career as model in an agency, they really have to pay attention to the people they want to work with. They really have to pay attention to the people they want to work with. Surround themselves with trustworthy people who will be able to guide and advise them. Because this is an another world I think, more professional, and there are so many drifts in this domain. Then there is the simpler case of being an amateur model, by pure passion, for your own pleasure. You have to be careful to choose your photographers, get in touch with the models who worked with him and meet each other beforehand. Don't forget that self-image is very important, so don't do and accept anything.

Can you give an advice, to people in general, how not to be ashamed of their body ? We have published curvy and plus size bikini & nude models, they have had a big problems with their confidence before they started do modeling.

It must be admitted, it's something difficult to have confidence in yourself and to feel confortable in your own skin. Society and the media don't help us by spreading a totally distorted image of women. Retouched, reshaped, models don't fit the reality. Well, I want to tell women, as well as men by the way, that we mustn't let these people win, that we mustn't look at these images thinking "this is how I have to be". You are unique, and this is already something beautiful. Anything you consider to be an imperfection makes you even more unique. Learn to love your body as it looks like doesn't happen in a day. It's a daily job that can last a very long time. Everyday, try to look yourself in the mirror as objectively as possible, like you're looking at a friend. Take a fresh look at yourself and say aloud whatever you like about you. Personally I started photo sessions for the same purpose : to improve the image I had of myself, my confidence and my personal esteem. My progress has intensified over the past two years, and posing as a model greatly helped me.

What kind of art, in general, do you like ?

I like drawing. I admire people who with a simple pencil can reproduce shapes, curves, relief. I also love sculpture, there is an artist who fascinates me especially, it's Ron Mueck. What he does with his works, the emotions he faithfully transposes on the faces, and all the work on the details implemented, I find this absolutely overwhelming.

Any hobbies ?

Nothing very original, I like to go to the cinema to see a good movie with a bowl of popcorn ; Listen to my music as often as possible ; Singing, by the way, some people told me I had potential after a Gun's cover in front of an audience. I will have to exploit it one day.

Plans for the rest of 2017

Carry on my way with shootings as rich and varied as possible. Enjoy at the same time my private life with my friends and my boyfriend. And above all, I intend to keep this confidence in myself and continue to make it progress.
