You are beautiful- Embrace being unique. People are going to say mean things. As soon as something ruffles feathers they always do. Let it go!

Set goals for yourself, manifest them, believe in them.

Get uncomfortable- go to those casting calls. Send that email. YOU have to believe in yourself.

Tell us where are you from, how old are you, something about growing up.

I was born and raised in a smaller town about an hour south of Toronto. I turned 22 recently on the third of May and I have three siblings. I have always been a free-spirited girl, passionate about anything I make my mind up about. I have a beautiful and intelligent little boy who is the reason that I strive to be better every single day- his name is Austin. I never grew up with a silver spoon in my mouth so to speak, but it helped me turn into the resilient woman that I am today.

What were your childhood dreams - like, what did you want to become when you grow up?

I was never a little girl who had it all planned out when it came to a career, however I have always wanted to write a book - which I now have begun (rough, first draft in the works). I have always enjoyed writing, painting, dancing and photography.

I felt pressure during my teen years not knowing what I wanted to do because I had convinced myself that I would never make it anywhere as an Artist- of any element. As a Model- the idea had not even crossed my mind as a possibility until after I turned 21.

I did find a passion in Law and began going to school to become a Paralegal after having my son. I eventually realized that I wasn’t going to be happy in that field, and when I did my goals altered.

The best decision I may have ever made was to start pouring myself into my Art.

Tell us about your regular day - how does it look like.

My days are never quite the same and likely will stay that way until my son is in school. Some days I have two shoots in one day, and other days I am in full mama mode. As an artist, a model and a mother, I have to wear many hats and so the dynamic of my days change.

Model life. How and when did you start with modeling?

When my son was born I spent a lot of time babywearing him, learning creative carries and aesthetically pleasing ties that led to me getting my first DSLR and beginning to enjoy photography myself and my little king.
I realized that I don’t have the patience for the quality of editing that I prefer, which led me to drop the photographer hat and pick up modeling- which was about three months ago.

First experience in front of the camera? How did you feel?

My first experience in front of the camera as a professional Model was nerve wracking! I felt unprepared and anxious, while simultaneously feeling exhilarated. I am the type of woman who puts forth 140% when I make up my mind- and once I stopped myself from continuously worrying about the little things,  I was able to bring myself into the right mindset- when I started feeling empowered, beautiful, strong and sexy.

What kind of photos do you prefer ? Also, do you like to take instructions from the photographer or to be a part of the shooting ideas ?

I prefer glamour, lingerie, fashion and lifestyle but you never know what to expect with me. Anything risqué, tasteful and alternative- I am probably your lady.

For photoshoots, I prefer to let myself get in a zone and move freely, however feels most natural. I have had photographers ask me to copy exact images and I have found that awkward.I don’t mind taking instructions during a shoot and meshing our ideas together prior. I prefer a photographer to let me know if I need a minor adjustment.

Lingerie photos - your favorite lingerie that you like to wear during the photo session ?

I am a lingerie addict- if I answer this how I’ve been going it will never end. Haha. It all comes down to what I am most comfortable in. I toss so many sexy outfits to the bottom of my luggage for ones that I feel better moving in because I know that I will be happier with the photos in the end.

Nude photos - when have you done your first nude photo session ?

I did my first Nude photo session in March of this year with Burartist in Toronto.

How was the feeling ?

I was nervous, self-conscious.. I debated cancelling too many times to count.
But once I got into a good head space when we began shooting,

The best feeling ever was pushing back into that uncomfortable space and creating.

I felt empowered and I felt beautiful.

Reactions from people close to you and people in general ?

Unfortunately, there were many poor reactions from people close to me.

Fortunately, I have a very good head on my shoulders and I chose to view that as an opportunity to reassess my circle.

People in general have been supportive, but there is a lot of judgment especially as a young mother, that I got after that shoot specifically.

What would be your advice to girls who would love to become lingerie / implied nude / nude models but they are affraid of reaction from people around them ?

You are beautiful- Embrace being unique. People are going to say mean things. As soon as something ruffles feathers they always do. Let it go!

Set goals for yourself, manifest them, believe in them.

Get uncomfortable- go to those casting calls. Send that email. YOU have to believe in yourself.

Plans for the rest of this year ?

Quite a bit of travel for Modeling

Placing more focus on my mental health*

And even more importance on my son**

Growth as an individual, as a model and as a mother.
Self mastery, essentially.
