Mollie Amelia - Be true and be you

The best piece of advice from me would be “Don't ever think that anything makes you not good enough to be a model”. I’m still finding my feet and I stumble sometimes but nothing should stop you from wanting to do something! I’ve been very lucky but once upon a time, I was a different person. I had no confidence, self belief and would never have been comfortable enough to model, remember to be yourself and never let anyone change that! Be true and be you.

In the words of Ru Paul “if you can’t love yourself, then how in the hell, you gonna love somebody else!”

  1. Something about your teenage dreams - what did you wanna be when you “grow up” ?

From the age of 14, I always looked at alternative models, the tattoos, the confidence and the dare to be myself through my skin was what I dreamed about! I wanted to be like one of my female roll models, Megan Massacre and being able to do that now is a dream come true ☺️.

  1. Modeling - when did you start to think to become a model ?

I studied photography for 2 years myself and throughout the course, my piers asked me to model a lot because of my fashion and style. I never thought I’d be good enough to model so I never tried to properly shoot until around 2 years ago!

When I was cheeky enough to ask a photographer if he would consider it. 2 years later and he’s a good friend and been a huge help for my progression. Big shout out to Daz!

  1. First photo session ? Feeling, experience, what kind of photo session ?

My first ever Shoot, I was very lucky to experience! Of course I was nervous, but the photographer was fab. I felt so much at ease and then, I guess, I just took to it. I started modelling clothing, (from the company who I’m now proud to represent!), and then progressed onto lingerie and boudoir! I just felt free! I’ve never looked back since.

  1. Ink. First tattoo ? What is a Tattoo art for you ?

My first ever tattoo was the lotus on my right hip (left if you’re looking) I was way too young and drew it myself, prior to it being tattooed. Something I’m not proud of but it was the beginning of my adventure and I honestly don’t regret it what so ever! For me, my tattoos are a piece of me. I have serious reasons for most of the ones of my body but other are just there for the fact I like them!! They’re a part of me and like a picture book, they document different points in my life!

  1. Meaning of your tats ? Are you gonna do more of them ?

They all have different meanings really, a lot of them are personal to me and some just there for the love. For example, I have 2 Disney tattoos, both from my favourite Disney film from way back when I was old enough to remember and even now that’s still never changed! As for having more, I keep saying “I’ll take a break for a little while” but that never happens, I had one 2 days ago because an artist was free! ???? it’s an addiction.

  1. Favorite lingerie for the photo session ? Are you in charge for the lingerie or photographer ?

I love to chose my own lingerie, I like to feel sexy and confident in the lingerie I wear and if I chose them myself, I get to feel like that!! I have worn photographer suggested items before, but I feel that I tend to do my best when I’m in my own items. For shoots, I do take around 10 different lingerie sets in a range of colours, this way the photographer can pick, but I’m still comfortable!!

  1. Tell us more about your piercings.

I used to have a lot more piercings than I do right now. As I got older I got more tattoos than piercings because, although it sounds a little stupid, I grew out of them. Piercings are a little more easy to chose though because I’ve missed a piercings after removing it and had it re pierced anyway! I think my nose has been pierced around 9 times now ????.

  1. You always have interesting hairstyle / haircolor. Can you give some advice to our readers for a healthy hair and interesting hairstyles / colors ?

Most of my family and friends know I can never stay a hair colour for a long period of time! I change my hair colour, A LOT! But my secret is, the colours I use are semi permanents and I have to think about what colours I use to be able to not use bleach. Sticking to the colour wheel and using semi permanent dyes are my life! I use bleach only at a last resort as I don’t want to damage my hair. I let my roots grow out to a maximum before contemplating bleach and making sure my hair gets cut every couple of weeks means I keep it healthy.

I also only wash my hair around once a week, and before people think EWWW, it’s to leave the natural oils in my hair. It makes it a lot healthier than a wash every day.

  1. Can you give some advice to all girls who would love to be lingerie models - how to work on their attitude and how to bring the best in front of the camera. You look amazing and so confident.

  1. BDSM photo sessions - experience ?

I did a implied BDSM shoot for a magazine that was unsuccessful, but I had a great time doing it! I was so nervous because I’d never done it before. I was made to feel so at ease and my photographer never pushed me to go further than I was comfortable. That’s the key with shoots of this nature and further, if you’re not comfortable, say it, everyone has their limits and that’s completely fine.

  1. Plans for the rest of 2019

I have no idea what’s gonna happen for the rest of the year, I’m intending to do more shoots (photographers dm me) and expand on my modelling portfolio! I’ve definitely got tattoo sittings booked so more tattoos are to come! But being asked to be internationally published has to be a huge high point to this year! So again THANK YOU GUYS ☺️☺️

  1. Social media where people can see your modeling work.

My main platform is on Instagram! I use that more than anything else really and I tend to be the most responsive on there!!
