Sara - È il mio cattivo atteggiamento che mi mantiene giovane / It's my bad attitude that keeps me young

Parlare di me di fronte ad un pubblico mi mette sempre un po' a disagio ma oggi ho deciso di aprirmi e farmi conoscere meglio. Sono Sara e sono nata e cresciuta a Roma. Ho 26 anni, sono laureata in lingue e letterature straniere, amo tutto ciò che sia arte, dal Cinema, alla pittura e naturalmente la fotografia.

Per me posare è stato un po' come mettermi alla prova, cercare di accettare anche i miei difetti ed entrare a contatto con un mondo del tutto nuovo ed affascinante.

Non sono una modella professionista e non intendo fare questo nella vita, il mio sogno è diventare un tour operator per questo continuo sempre a studiare nell'ambito turistico ma diciamo che il posare mi occupa molto tempo e l'ho fatto diventare un secondo lavoro.

Talking about myself in front of an audience always makes me a little uncomfortable but today I decided to open up and make myself known better. I am Sara and I was born and raised in Rome. I am 26 years old, I have a degree in foreign languages and literature, I love everything that is art, from cinema, to painting and of course photography.
For me, posing was a bit like putting myself to the test, trying to accept even my flaws and getting in touch with a completely new and fascinating world.
I am not a professional model and I do not intend to do this in life, my dream is to become a tour operator for this reason I always continue to study in the tourism sector but let's say that posing takes me a lot of time and I have made it a second job.

Maddy - spigoloso e di classe / edgy and classy

Maddy, del sud trapiantata al nord,sono tornata a posare dopo tanto tempo, per lavoro e divertimento, mi piacciono le location outdoor e urbex , i progetti non banali, non le foto scontate sul divano, dico sempre che un bel lato b su un divano è un lato b su un divano, un lato b in una bella location è tutta un altra cosa,ho alcuni proggetti di shooting che non sono ancora riuscita a realizzare ,s ono alla ricerca di un paio di location particolari e di una modella con cui fare uno shooting assieme. Dicono che sono dominante , ma ho bisogno di condividere il progetto del fotografo e che lui mi faccia sentire a mio agio, raramente faccio nudo completo e sicuramente non faccio "Met"

Pamela - costruisci il tuo personaggio / build your character

Ansia!!! Il mio primo social era Facebook, e io, guardavo spesso I gruppi di fotografi/modelle con le collaborazioni in TF. Mi domandavo..ma io posso farlo?
E poi pensavo... ho la pancia, non sono alta, non sono bionda con gli occhi azzurri..( problemi che tutte noi abbiamo sempre).
Un giorno, ero al super market con mia sorella. Mi fermo' un signore dandomi il suo bigliettino da visita e mi chiese se avessi mai posato.. (Lui amava I miei lineamenti del viso). In quel momento e' scattato qualcosa dentro di me..la sicurezza di "provare".
Mi Portai una vecchia amica la prima volta, e feci il mio primo set dentro un garage. Non fu' una bella esperienza non ero a mio agio..ma io testarda come sono non mi fermai a la mia prima esperienza..continuai..

Ando' decisamente molto meglio,mi senti' a mio agio. Sembrava stessi giocando.

One day, I was at the super market with my sister. I stopped a gentleman giving me his business card and asked me if I had ever posed .. (He loved my facial features). At that moment something inside me clicked… the certainty of "trying".
I brought in an old friend for the first time, and I did my first set in a garage. It was not a good experience I was not at ease .. but I stubborn as I am I did not stop at my first experience .. I continued ..

It definitely went much better, I felt at ease. It seemed like I was playing.

Vanesa - budite svoji i imajte jasan cilj / be yourself and have a clear goal

Modelingom sam se počela baviti prije nekoliko mjeseci, točnije u prvom mjesecu ove godine.

Prema tome čisto sumnjam da vam mogu dati neki zlata vrijedan savjet kojeg još niste čuli, ali mogu vam reći da je važno da čime god da se bavite i što god da radite u životu budete svoji, imate jasan cilj i ne dozvolite nikome da vas u ostvarenju istoga spriječi.

So I doubt very much that I can give you some gold-worthy advice that you haven’t heard yet, but I can tell you that it’s important that whatever you do and whatever you do in life be your own, you have a clear goal and don’t let anyone in you prevent the realization of the same.

I think the worst thing you can do is try to compare yourself to other models.

I’ll admit I’ve done it myself before and it’s not a good cycle to get into, putting yourself down and wishing you were more like someone else but what you need to remember is everyone is different.

Every one has there own unique look, style, flaws even and that’s what makes you the person you are. I’ve honestly over time learned to love myself exactly how I am.

One thing I love about the modelling industry is the confidence it gives you.

Confidence shows and I think it’s a really powerful thing.

Another thing I love is that you get to meet some amazing people, I’ve worked with some incredibly talented photographers who are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met, it’s brilliant.

My advice is simple, don’t do what I did. Follow your dreams, no matter how ridiculous and unattainable they may seem; just do it! Not to quote Nike, but it's true. I became a model because it was a secular dream of mine after becoming a firefighter. I want all young girls to chase what makes them feel special, confident and at peace.

If you decide to take up modeling the one thing I can say with certainty is: DO NOT PAY FOR PHOTOSHOOTS OR AN AGENCY!

The agencies all look at young models as cash cows. I have had multiple interviews with multiple agencies and I have never been turned away until the conversation turns to fees. I have not, and will not, ever join an agency, I market myself better then any agency could, and I managed to keep my freedom. (Hence the name free-lance model)

Let me make this loud and clear if someone wants YOU as a model to pay for anything (and I mean anything), DO NOT work with them. If you are a hired model, you are working as a paid commodity which means you should be leaving the set with cash or cheque in hand.

Cora - German Inked Model

Mein aller erstes Tattoo habe ich mit 17 bekommen, direkt auf dem Fuß, was sehr sehr schmerzvoll war, sodass ich währenddessen den Fuß ständig zurück ziehen musste und nicht ruhig bleiben konnte.

Das Ergebnis war sehr verwackelt.

Mittlerweile ist auf dem misslungenen Motiv ein Cover-up-Tattoo drauf.

Nach und nach kamen immer mehr Tattoos dazu; einmal angefangen, kann man wirklich schlecht damit aufhören und es fällt einem immer ein neuer Tattoowunsch ein.
