My advice to young girls who aspire to be a model/actress is to start now! Start taking classes and submitting your photos to top agencies, but be very careful! Make sure you know who your photographer is, and don’t do anything that makes you uncomfortable.
I’ve been the most down to earth diva since I was a little girl- I loved playing dress up as well as doing hair and makeup, but I also loved four-wheeling, hiking and playing sports. I am also very proud of my culture. My mother is Mashantucket Pequot and my father is Salish Kootenai and Japanese, quite a mix! Growing up on a Native American reservation was quite an experience. Although I have ventured off and moved to Hartford, CT, I still frequently visit my parents and attend all our cultural events such as Schemitzun coming up at the end of August.
Becoming a model has been one of the hardest things, let alone becoming an actress! I have been scammed by agencies, photographers, magazines, you name it! They put you down and make it feel impossible to achieve your dreams. But you have to keep pushing and learn from your mistakes. I have taken countless acting and modeling classes, and even plan on taking a few refreshers soon! You can never stop learning!
My sister has participated in the Bikini Open Shoot Challenge for two years now and nominated me as a participant. There were 7 photographers, and 7 contestants with a $500 grand prize. We were given 45 minutes with each photographer and the photographers chose the winner. It was exhausting! It was challenging for me because I have such light-colored eyes and the sun was so bright, I couldn’t control my tears! But it was definitely a rewarding experience and I have gained so many friends and such great exposure!

I love and appreciate all forms of art. May it be makeup, drawing, hair styling, sculptures, I value the passion and effort put into it all.
My hobbies now include work, work, and work! I currently am working at Swarovski, the beautiful and sparkly crystal store, and am a server at a local bar. Oh, and I am a freelance hair and makeup artist! But on my occasional days off I love hiking and spending time with my family and friends. With so little time left in 2017, I plan to take advantage of every last second! I have a few photoshoots lined up as well as a few weddings I am doing hair and makeup for.
