Lili - working on cosplays
As I write this, I am packing my bags to go to Washington, DC. While there, I will be performing with Wolfpac at the Juggalo March and afterparty, as well as, doing plenty of shoots along the way. In October, I will be a guest judge for the cosplay contest at Megafest 6 in Memphis, TN. I have a lot in the works for the upcoming months as well as next year but I don’t want to say anything until everything is set in stone. I am hoping since winter is coming up, I will get a little extra time so I can work on my cosplays. I have a lot of ideas I'm really excited about working on.
I am Lili Rockwood. I am a model, cosplayer, dancer, game and comic enthusiast, as well as concert lover and photographer. I was born and raised, for the most part, in Memphis, TN and am 27 years old. Honestly, if you knew me growing up, you would not expect my life would have turned out like this. I am normally very shy and soft spoken. As a little girl, I would have been the child playing games by herself or the one singer in choir that you could barely hear even when she sang by herself. I wouldn’t even dance or sing in public without being in a group and even then, it was still hard for me to do either. But modeling has made me go outside of my comfort zone quite a bit and I am grateful for that. I am not so shy and I have found my voice. I have become a beautiful and strong woman who does not care what others think. The only thing that matters to me is that my husband and I are happy doing what we do.
As a child, I would always dream of one day becoming a great singer. But with my shyness, I knew that would never happen, though. So my next dream would to become a poet. But even this, I knew, would probably not happen, as all the great poets normally die before becoming famous. Even still, I wrote every day as a child. My hands were always cramping and would always have pen marks on them. Some of my poems were turned into songs and others were stolen or lost through the years. The ones I still have are all in a book in my attic. Honestly, writing this much made me think about possibly writing books one day, which I still think about at times. But the spark that was in me wanting to write so much, died out when I met my husband. You may think, what horrible news, but its really the opposite. My passion came from anger, sadness, and depression. My husband lifted that burden for me and therefore, I do not feel like I have to write to get away. I love where I'm at and do not want to change it in any way. Therefore, I am happy to not feel the need to write anymore.
My regular day consists of a lot of work that never gets done. I wake up at 6 am, workout, dance, and shower. My actual routine is stretch, workout and then dance; It normally takes me a total of 3 hours to complete. Every day I eat salads and fruits, as well as, drink tons of water. I also like to tan every so often, when the opportunity arises. We are currently in the process of revamping a 60+ year old home that really has not been touched in over 20 years. So, painting, fixing electricity, taking out furnaces, fixing cracks, taking out carpet, and such. I also help my husband out whenever needed. He is a photographer at Dragon Lili Studios. So, I may transfer photos, add watermarks, post something, as well as deal with our social media pages; including corresponding with and booking shoots, events, other photographers, and models - when needed. I am also in the process of learning about photography so that I can help out more when it does come to Dragon Lili Studios and hopefully expanding our business one day. We are also currently revamping our patreon site to offer more tiers at better prices. In my free time, I work on random cosplay projects as well as my photography, learning new skills and such.
I originally started modeling in August 2013. I knew a model who, along with my husband, has told me countless times that I should become a model myself. So, I finally said yes and it just so happened that Nate "Igor" Smith was at the gathering of the juggalos that year photographing the juggalettes for Hustler's special Juggalette edition in April 2014. I missed a little of main stage to go into lake hep to do the photoshoot. But this photoshoot was not just my first photoshoot, this was also my first nude photoshoot. So I was really nervous but it was at the gathering of the juggalos and I am very comfortable and relaxed there, so that really didn’t bother me; unlike lake hep. Because of how lake hep looked, I was not as comfortable as I could have been. But none the less, I loved it. I felt great about myself after the shoot and especially after I saw myself in Hustler. I knew then that modeling would be a great career for me.
I don’t really have a specific type of photo that I prefer. If you look at any of my pages, you will see that I like a lot of different things and show that in my work. At the same time though, I work off the photographer, as well. Meaning, I love it when we throw ideas at each other and come together to create something amazing.

As far as social media goes, I have facebook (Lili Rockwood), instagram (@lilirockwood), and twitter (@LiliRockwood). I also have a model mayhem account (# 4070659) (modelmayhem.com/lilirockwood), as well as, co-host a patreon page with Dragon Lili Studios (patreon.com/dragon_lili_studios). Right now, my husband and I are in the process of revamping our patreon page. Once it is complete, you will not only get access to news and behind the scene pictures, but to loot crates, calendars, and posters, as well as, plenty of other new and/or improved tiers.
My hobbies include video games, comics, concerts, cons/festivals, and making cosplays. Between my husband and I, there are very few consoles we do not own. We use to own a game cube but my husband decided to pass it on to a child he use to baby sit a lot. As far as our comic collection, it is constantly growing. We have boxes stacked on top of each other full of single issues and actual books are lining an overflowing bookshelf dedicated to our collection. There is another bookshelf that also consists of various pops and action figures we have collected over the years. The number one event we always try to attend every year is the gathering of the juggalos. It's a week long festival that mainly has underground artists performing all week long. The festival also has carnival rides, as well as, various tournaments everyone can enter. With that being said, obviously I love underground music. In fact, a lot of what I now listen to I heard at the gathering first. Also, this year at the gathering of the juggalos, I announced that I was a dancer for wolfpac and did my first shoot with them at the Juggalo March.
In 5 years, I would like to see myself doing exactly this, what I love doing, with my husband by my side. Within 1 year of making a facebook and instagram accounts, I have received over 1,000 followers on each account and am hoping that my followers continue to grow. I love making and debuting various cosplays and just shoots in general, whether its me modeling or me taking the photo. So as long as my husband and I can continue to do this, I'll be happy in life.
