Cosa voglio mostrare con quelle foto? La mia anima. Ciò che ho dentro. Amo interpretare un personaggio. Sono decisamente adattata al drammatico, come spesso si vede nelle mie foto. Vero, cerco di mostrare la realtà, ossia quello che le persone provano...dolore, solitudine, devastazione, rabbia, tristezza.

What do I want to show with those photos? My soul. What I have inside. I love playing a character. I am definitely adapted to the dramatic, as is often seen in my photos. True, I try to show reality, that is what people feel ... pain, loneliness, devastation, anger, sadness.

Ho iniziato nel 2013 effettivamente.

First photo session

Ricordo la mia prima sessione fotografica, avevo 13 o 14 anni circa...ero timida e insicura.

I remember my first photo session, I was around 13 or 14 ... I was shy and insecure.

Preparing for the photo session

Ci provavo a prepararmi. Studio, osservo, guardo i lavori degli altri artisti e cerco di carpire il meglio, ma non mi preparo per nulla poi alla fine. e' tutta improvvisazione per quel che mi riguarda. Cerco di entrare nel mondo mentale del fotografo e viceversa. La simbiosi e il capirsi fà un buon 80 % , solo una piccola percentuale è tecnica.

Ho poco tempo nella vita per prepararmi. Sono molto spontanea, questo credo sia un mio grande pregio. Percui nei miei ritagli di tempo, cerco di osservare molto i lavori degli altri artisti. Apprezzo molto la mimica facciale e il saper essere espressivi degli attori americani...spettacolare per me. Gli italiani credo, abbiano molto da imparare da loro, sono decisamente ad un altro livello.

I was trying to get ready. I study, I observe, I look at the works of the other artists and I try to get the best, but I do not prepare for anything at the end. it's all improvisation as far as I'm concerned. I try to enter the mental world of the photographer and vice versa. Symbiosis and understanding each other makes a good 80%, only a small percentage is technical.

I have little time in life to prepare. I am very spontaneous, this I think is a great advantage of mine. Therefore in my spare time, I try to observe a lot the works of the other artists. I really appreciate the facial expressions and the ability to be expressive of the American actors ... spectacular for me. I think Italians have a lot to learn from them, they are definitely on another level.

Mirror photos

Lo specchio, è una sorta di simbolo, riflette la mia anima. Seppur nella realtà come spesso accade per le donne, lo specchio rappresenta un amico/nemico del nostro corpo, ma indiscutibilmente mostra ciò che siamo davvero.

The mirror is a kind of symbol, it reflects my soul. Although in reality as often happens for women, the mirror represents a friend/enemy of our body, but indisputably shows what we really are.

Polaroid art

Adoro le polaroid da quando ero bambina. Ho sempre desiderato una MAcchina per polaroid ma non nè ho mai avuta una. Adoro il loro senso di vintage che danno, quel senso di nostalgia per altri tempi, quel senso di vissuto e passato, quella magia di altre epoche lontane.

I love polaroids since I was a kid. I have always wanted a Polaroid machine but I never had one. I love their sense of vintage that they give, that sense of nostalgia for other times, that sense of past and past, that magic of other distant eras.

About dancing

Sono una ex ballerina. O meglio, sono una ex ginnasta di artistica a livello agonistico. Ho iniziato che avevo 3 o 4 anni. Ho seguito anche qualche lezione di danza compresa nel mio allenamento ginnico. Ballare equivale a volare, è espressione del cuore e dell'anima, è l'affrontare le sfide e le paure, è la rappresentazione del cadere, del farsi male, ma rialzarsi sempre ed imparare a continuare a vivere dalle proprie esperienze. E' sicuramente il mio primo amore cosi come la fotografia. Mi piace il ballo in generale fra cui la salsa e il tango, non disdegno anche la danza moderna. Ma apprezzo molto il connbio perfetto fra danza e fotografia. Amo cio.

I am an ex-ballerina. Or rather, I am a former artistic gymnast at a competitive level. I started that I was 3 or 4 years old. I also followed some dance lessons included in my gymnastic training. Dancing is equivalent to flying, it is an expression of the heart and soul, it is facing challenges and fears, it is the representation of falling, of hurting oneself, but always getting up and learning to continue living from one's own experiences. It is definitely my first love as well as photography. I like the dance in general including salsa and tango, I don't dislike modern dance too. But I really appreciate the perfect connection between dance and photography. I love that.

Passions

Ho parecchie passioni nella vita, difficile elencarle tutte. Amo viaggiare, ho uno spiccato desiderio per la conoscenza del nostro pianeta, del mondo, delle culture diverse. D'altronde, si dice, che il desiderio di conoscenza rende l'uomo libero.

I have many passions in life, difficult to list them all. I love to travel, I have a strong desire for knowledge of our planet, of the world, of different cultures. On the other hand, it is said that the desire for knowledge makes a man free.
