Charlotte - Believe in yourself and you can achieve anything
The confidence hasn't always been there for me. Modelling has definitely increased my self-esteem.
Your perfect just the way you are and you should show off what you have because nobody has it like you!
Finding a photographer who to trust and confide in for your first shoot is important, they can help give you guidance as well as help you excel in what you enjoy doing.
My motto is.. Believe in yourself and you can achieve anything.
Can you tell us about your roots, about growing up?
I am from Milton Keynes UK, near London. I have been living her since a very young age! I went to school in a place called Olney. Growing up was challenging and has certainly made me who I am today.
I really wanted to learn criminal psychology however I didn't get the grades I needed to follow this up. It is something that is always on the for front of my mind and find extremely interesting.
Any idols during the teenage period?
My biggest idol growing up was my Grandad and he still is. He was in the Navy as a young man, met my nan and had 5 wonderful kids and then became a principal of Science. He is an amazing man. 90 years old and still going strong! Who wouldn't idolize that?!
When did you start with modeling? Can you recall your first photo session?
It was when I went to college to learn theatrical makeup and beauty for 2 years. This made me want to go into modelling! Instead of being behind the camera, I wanted to be in front of it. It also gave me the contacts I needed to achieve this. My first shoot was when I was 18. I have a few pictures from this actually!
When it comes to modeling, what is your favorite style?
I like all styles of modeling but my favourite is art nude or portrait. Feeling comfortable in your own skin is important and modelling has definitely taught me this. Something about being naked in a field on a summer day...
Do you like to be in charge when it comes to your outfit or do you let it to the photographer/brand?
It all depends if it is paid and the photographers expect you to wear a particular item you would have to take that into account. Otherwise, if it's a TFP shoot we tend to discuss outfits and I will bring some with me! Always helps to be organized and know what you doing before arriving at a shoot.
You are an amazing lingerie/boudoir model. Can you tell us about your point of view when it comes to good lingerie/boudoir photos? How picky you are, what makes you most feminine/sexy so you can do your best in front of the camera?
You want a nice setting and black and white always work really well! I don't like to wear a lot of makeup so I would prefer as natural as possible. The lingerie needs to match the surroundings as well!
Nude art modeling. Tell us more about that part of your art.
Nude art isn't for everybody but for me it fills me with empowerment and really brings out my wild side. Even though there aren't any outfits involved you can incorporate body paint and other things to create fabulous art!
You look like a girl who is full of self-confidence. Can you give an advice to all aspiring models who would love to start with lingerie/boudoir modeling, but they are either afraid to show their body or they are in a state of mind “what will people around me say!”. How to boost self-confidence?!
