Joana - be true to your feelings / sé fiel a tus sentimientos
I advise them to always believe in themselves, there will be many people who will not agree, but if they really feel that modeling is what they like, turn a deaf ear and be true to their feelings. That they love and accept themselves as they are, that there is room for everyone and for all body types.
Puede contarnos sobre sus raíces, sobre crecer? \
Soy Uruguaya nacida en la capital, soy descendiente de italianos, crecí en una familia numerosa, soy la cuarta de cinco hermanos.
Cuál fue su sueño de infancia / adolescencia? ¿Qué querías ser?

I am Uruguayan born in the capital, I am of Italian descent, I grew up in a large family, I am the fourth of five siblings.
What was your childhood / adolescence dream? What did you want to be?
As a child I dreamed of being a dancer, I studied some dances such as ballet and Arabic dance, I stopped screaming because I was very shy and I was even ashamed to show myself to the dance teachers.
Any idol during adolescence?
At about 14 years old, I remember that I found a photo of Marilyn Monroe, I had never seen or heard about it, but from that moment I was completely in love. It was a great admiration that her beauty generated in me and over time I was looking for information and material to know a little more about what she did and how her life was. Those who know something about her history know that it was not easy and much less perfect, today she analyzed it from another place as a woman and she is my great reference and partly my engine of struggle to end certain prejudices and oppressions that women suffer As it happened to her, it is without a doubt a great feeling of love that was born to me and it is difficult for me to find an explanation.

When did you start modeling? Can you remember your first photoshoot?
I remember my first photoshoot in 2018 with Sabrina Díaz, a great boudoir photographer from Uruguay. At that time, she was not aiming to be an alternative model. From the age of 14 I began to suffer from eating disorders and complexes with my body, I turned to professional photography to be able to see myself from another place, from that moment it was my refuge and my cure.
Today I work with white studio, in my opinion the best photographer in Uruguay, I am in love with their work and the results we achieve as a team.
When it comes to modeling, what is your favorite style?
My favorite style is boudoir and nude photography.

How do you keep fit? You're fit?
I train 3 times a week in a gym and since June 2019 I am a vegetarian. Honestly, after having so many problems with eating, I decided to make friends with my body and food, but I still can't be objective when it comes to telling you how I look.
I love all of them, especially fine lingerie, but I would model with any type of lingerie.
You have some tattoos. Can you tell me about the meaning of your tattoos? Do you consider yourself an alternative / inked model?
In total I have 8, in my right arm I have the face of Marilyn Monroe and a film tape with the date of her birth and death, as I already said I admire her too much. On the left I have a witch that represents my struggle and my feminist militancy and below I have a cow and a pig that I did after months of stopping eating animals. Then I have 4 on my legs that have no special meaning, but they are drawings that I love.
I still do not consider myself an inked model, but I am looking for that, I have a lot of space to ink!
