Last year I focused on taking care of myself, and I finally embraced my imperfections. I recently did a fun photoshoot, and realized how much I loved being on the other side of the camera again. When I saw the opportunity to do an implied nude shoot I saw it as all, or nothing. Either I had the confidence to start this new journey, or I didn't. It was one of the most liberating experiences I've ever had. I felt comfortable, confident, and had so much fun. I feel like it's necessary for real people of all ages, and body shapes to be represented in this industry. You truly never know what your capable of until you try.

Since I was little I've always loved having my picture taken. I wanted to be a model, but never had the confidence in myself to pursue it. For a while I found myself behind the camera. In highschool, and college I took photography, and graphic arts classes. I loved it, however I ended up having to put it on hold. I got married, and had a baby. After three kids, I felt like I lost myself. I finally found my passion helping others feel beautiful, and confident by becoming an esthetician. In my profession the phrase "love the skin you're in" gets used a lot, and I despised it for so long. My body changed so much after having kids, and my skin was my biggest insecurity.
