What represents me totally, I always smile even when it does not go because over the years I have forged a carapace. The Mediterranean, I grew up under the sun of the Côte d'Azur which makes me sparkling and smiling every day.

I am a very dreamy woman-child, I always wanted to be an artist but my lack of confidence made me unfortunately sometimes abandoned and thanks to the photo I was able to regain confidence in me and I intend to do everything to realize my dreams.

I studied film directing, as I think it would tremendously help me to be a better actor, and it's good to see the whole thing from another angle. I loved work with students on short films, UCLA really made us a big family. Sometimes, we got to make short films with the same scripts, it was so interesting to see everyone's film turned out to be so different. Thanks to my UCLA studies, I have two films in the film festival, "Forget to Remember" and "Wine Not". They were based on my previous relationships. My friends always say that I am like Taylor Swift in films.

Brenna Bigs - I try to integrate art in all aspects of my life

I agree that self-confidence is key when it comes to any type of art, including modeling and self-confidence. I would say that the most important thing to remember is your value and image. Is your art demonstrating your worth? How do you want to come off to your audience? If the art that you are doing does not reflect this, then don’t do it. Also, don’t be afraid to say no. You don’t need to be overly sexualized for success. I’ve had so many male photographers try to push me to reveal more or do more than I was comfortable with in shoots, and I’ve had a hard time always saying no, but it’s something you have to do. I had to explain to them that I’m ok with revealing more, but it has to serve a purpose that makes statements that align with my views. Create what you want to create - it’s your art form, express yourself how you wish to.

J'ai eu ma période "nu". Mes photos étaient plutôt artistique, mélancoliques. Je ne suis pas attirée en tant que modèle par le nu trop sensuel ou sexy, car j’ai du mal avec ces mots quand on me décrit.

I remember when everybody was laughing at me when I first say I was going to lose weight.

I was 16 years old I was weighing 250lb, I was sad because I could hear all the shady comments people were saying behind my back. I wanted to be a part of the popular group and being called beautiful and making all those guys crazy about me.

My grandmother believed in me and wanted me to change my habits for the sake of my health so she bought me a 3 months subscription to the gym. I will forever remember this because It was the first time that someone actually believed that I could do such a thing. I wasn’t always fat but for some reason, I wasn’t able to lose all that weight.

I can’t believe that a few years ago I was body shame because I was overweight and now I am a young Montreal model and that a lot of people are showing me love, support and they actually want to work with me.

But it’s only the beginning of my dream though. I know that I have a lot of work to do to be on top of the game and it won’t be easy.

Ci si deve accettare per quello che si è con i propri difetti e pregi.

Nessuna è perfetta e ogni donna è bella a suo modo, ed è libera di sentirsi di realizzare quello che vuole purché si senta a proprio agio con il proprio corpo.

Per quanto riguarda il "cosa dirà la gente" posso riassumere così : posso fare quasi tutto quello che voglio fare e non devo fare niente di quello che non voglio fare.

Le persone che riescono a fare quello che vogliono sono rarissime, invidiatissime e costantemente criticate.

La buona notizia è che focalizzandosi esclusivamente sul fare quello che si vuole, il rumore di fondo della gente comune svanira'come il rumore di una nave che scompare all'orizzonte.

You have to accept yourself for what you are with your defects and strengths.

No one is perfect and every woman is beautiful in her own way, and is free to feel like accomplishing what she wants as long as she feels comfortable with her body.

As for "what will people say" I can sum it up like this: I can do almost anything I want to do and I don't have to do anything I don't want to do.

People who manage to do what they want are very rare, highly envied and constantly criticized.

The good news is that by focusing solely on doing what you want, the background noise of ordinary people will fade away like the sound of a ship disappearing over the horizon.
