Art nude photography to me is about shapes; the focus is not on the attractiveness or sexual appeal of the subject.
Using the human form as you would with any other medium to create an idea or convey emotion.
Similar to body painting; the nudity is not the focus the final product is.
Clothing can create stereotypes, judgments and distraction.
We are all human naked.
- Can you tell us about your roots, about growing up?
I grew up in a nice small town, I am the eldest of 6 siblings from blended families. We all kept active as children with various sports and hobbies. I enjoyed go-kart racing, painting, singing, horseback riding, ATV-ing, and being active in the community.
- What was your childhood / teenage dream? What did you wanna to become?
I have always loved animals and dreamed of a career helping them. My childhood dream job was a marine biologist, as I grew older I realized the ocean is terrifying!
- Any idols during the teenage period?
Avril Lavigne, Pink and Evaneccese
- When did you start with modeling? Can you recall your first photo session?
I had done some modeling as a child with Flare, I really started modeling at 19 when I was scouted near my apartment downtown.
My first photo shoot was a test shoot and digitals with my mother agent. I remember feeling very uncertain before we started shooting, "what do I do with my hands!!!!' Once we started shooting I was infatuated and knew this is what I wanted to do!
- Alternative model. Do you consider yourself as an Alt model?
After being a non-tattooed agency signed model, I would say that now I am certainly an alternative model.
- First tattoo. What was the feeling?
My first tattoo was one of the butterflies in my stomach. I was so excited that I was only 17 and hadn't gotten I.D. I don't remember much past the waiver. It couldn't have been that bad because I kept getting tattoos.
- How many tats do you have now?
Around 25 I stopped counting as my tattoos stopped being individuals and started to become full pieces. I am getting close to 50hrs under the needle.
- Meaning of your tattoos?
All of my tattoos mean something different to me. Some are words I live by, memorial tattoos for those I have lost, matching tattoos with friends, Freehand pieces by tattoo artists I idolize, my own artwork, some of my tattoos are just for fun while traveling, I like to get a tattoo every new place I travel, an everlasting souvenir!
- You are into implied nude /nude art photos too. Can you explain to our reader's nude art from your point of view?

- Favorite lingerie for a photo session?
I love bodysuits, lace, printed, cutout, floral!
- What would be your advice to young girls who would like to start alt modeling career?
Safety!!!! Every new model should have a model release stating the desired end product (including shots/posing wanted, wardrobe, usage of photos, and what both parties will receive after the shoot) and everyone's comfortability levels.
Also make sure someone knows where you are going, for how long, and with whom.
Always trust your gut, if a situation doesn't seem right or professional it more than likely isn't. Do not be afraid to turn down work and stay true to who you are and what you are comfortable with the world seeing.
- What kind of art, in general, do you like?
I enjoy dark abstract art but in general anything unique will call my interest.
Alex Grey is one of my absolute favorite artists as well as Georgia O'Keeffe, painting is my preferred medium.
- Any hobbies?
I drive an old "beater" jeep, so I find a lot of my time not shooting is spent with my brother fixing and keeping it running.
I have recently taken a larger interest in makeup, learning new technics and special effects. As well as building my makeup artist portfolio.
I love fresh air and being outside, exploring for new shoot locations or just spending an afternoon on a patio.
I also adore a good scary movie.
- plans for the rest of 2018?
Work, work and Travel!!!! I love Toronto and do plan on spending some time here this summer but I am planning to go to as many different places as I can this year to model.
