Can you tell us about your roots, about growing up?

I was born in Homestead, Florida..south of miami..probably one of the worst cities in south Florida to live in at the time because of it's crime. My parents decided to raise me in my father's hometown/country of Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. That's where my spirit comes from I believe, I'm a true island girl. My roots are indigenous, my ancestors are a mix of Arawak Indian & West Indian (Jamaican) from my father's side & East Indian (Guyanese) & Portuguese from my mother's side. Some of my friends consider me a real Americanized island mutt lol.

What was your childhood / teenage dream? What did you wanna to become?

Believe it or not, when I was a child I wanted to build my own airplane that was safe for the environment. I was always fascinated by technology & traveling. Modeling has always been a passion of mine as well but since I was a child all I've ever wanted to do is create & help the world..and it's ocean, I love the sea!

Any idols during the teenage period?

My mother has always been my number one idol. She's the strongest woman I know, a true bonafide hustler yet is so selfless & caring. She has so much love & she inspires me to be the same.

When did you start with modeling? Can you recall your first photo session?

I've been modeling since the age of 14, my first photo shoot was for a swimwear collection, taken in front of Lake Eola in Downtown Orlando.

Can you tell us about your favorite place for a photo session /so far/?

My favorite place to shoot by far is the beach, during a nice sunset.

Your most interesting photo session?

My most interesting shoot was for a Nike campaign, I had to run on a race track the entire time in the hot sun..it was probably the most exhausting session lol.

Who is in charge of yours Makeup and hairstyle?

For most of my shoots I either use the stylists that are already on set or I usually just come hair & make-up ready. I'm a naturalist so I'm very particular on what goes in my hair & on my skin.

What would be your advice to young girls who would like to start modeling career?

Be comfortable in your own skin & never be discouraged by others opinions. Believe in yourself, manifest the dream you desire & be you by all means. Also, never work for free, we as models are more than just a muse.
