Vicky - As long as you love yourself and have supportive friends and family around you, nothing will ever stop you
My advice to anyone who is currently feeling low about their body is that nobody is telling you you can’t become whatever you want to be. I personally think body-shaming is getting lower nowadays, in high school you may get nasty comments but that’s only because that person hasn’t matured or grown-up yet to see that beauty is literally all in the personality, it’s your personality that defines you not your looks. I was the same, never had an ounce of confidence, never have and still don’t wear much makeup, bullied in school for being far too skinny yet everyone decided to ignore the fact I was champion cross country runner that did 12 miles training 5 days a week so of course there was nothing to me but the main thing I’ve learned is that as long as you love yourself and have supportive friends and family around you, nothing will ever stop you :)
I started modeling in February 2018, I’ve always wanted to do modeling so when I arranged the first shoot I was so excited. Turned out my first shoot was also the photographer's first shoot aswell which
was scary but we created a nice bond from it.
On my first shoot I was determined I was only going to do lingerie but the longer the shoot went on the more my confidence grew and my first shoot became my first topless shoot.
As the first 4/5 shoots were with the same photographer, doing nude shoots became easier and easier but it wasn’t until the 3rd shoot that I did full art nude.
The feeling was amazing and unexpected, being bullied in school for being too skinny was surprisingly very easily overcome by confidence when I started modeling.
My best friend was very supportive and although my family knew I was doing modeling, they didn’t know the full extent till about the 8th shoot. By this time I’d moved to the midlands to pursue my modeling
career more, I became more and more proud of every shoot so I told my mum, brother, and nana. My dad will never know.
My first BDSM experience was quite emotional, the photographer and I created a wonderful bond that still exists to this day. He and his wife were swingers so he was telling me all kinds of stories
that I was so fascinated by. This photographer opened up a whole new world to me and I adore it so much that I’ve pulled my best friend into the lifestyle of trying new things.
I’ve introduced it into relationships that have changed it massively so learning new things you haven’t tried (which is a daily learning process) things can only get better.
The first shoot I did with another girl was scary as girls really intimidate me but her confidence helped me a lot as well as the photographer's guidance and direction.
This girl was my friend's girlfriend and I had moved into their house when I moved back up to the midlands, as she was a model aswell it really helped us to arrange loads of shoots.
It got to the point where we were having 3/4 shoots a week which helped us both thrive. I have shot with my best friend of 10 years many times, we very rarely do any erotic or intimate shoots
but even though they’re staged my photographer always says we have such “chemistry” with each other.
I don’t really have a favorite type of material but I do love black, as I am quite a (tomboy’ish) person who is always more than likely in trainers and joggers I’m not into all the frilly girly lingerie.
I mainly like things with harnesses or chains, lace is more definitely the best though. If I had to choose any outfit though, it would be my Calvin Klein set.
My advice to young women trying to get into the modeling industry is that it is stressful as it a lot of promoting yourself and trying to stand out compared to the other thousands of girls trying
to get into the modeling industry. Looks aren’t everything, I know plenty of models who are highly promoted due to their weirdness and quirks that separate them from everyone and it’s amazing
to see as a personality goes a long way. Personally wouldn’t do it through an agency as I haven’t myself but who am I to say you shouldn’t.
