Chiara - Scattare mi ha aiutata a conoscermi meglio / Taking photos helped me get to know myself better
I believe that there is something in each of us that we would like to change, but our body changes over the years and in my opinion the secret lies in accepting these changes. The advice I would give is to try without feeling judged. We live in a world in which people value the appearance more than the substance of the person himself, but this must not be a repressing of their own ambitions.

I started briefly when I was 20 for play and found that I liked it. Then I had to interrupt because at that time I was already doing two jobs and I was no longer able to reconcile my commitments with my passions. I shot almost two years ago after she contacted me a photographer to ask me to pose, and I have never stopped. I enjoy experimenting with new things and learning from every photographer. I like to test myself and experiment with new things, I also take inspiration from those who have more experience and I exchange suggestions with the models I met in this period. I try to apply the advice given to me, because they are always an incentive to improve.

I like to shoot almost all genres, glamor is, in fact, what is most evident in my shots. With this genre you have to learn to accept your body and your defects. We are women and our femininity is not only in the body, it starts above all from the eyes and from what they transmit because as someone said “the eyes are the mirror of the soul”. In starting this type of shots I had to work a lot on myself, to overcome my shyness in showing myself and accepting the defects of my body. Little by little I gained more self-confidence. Although not a professional model, I am satisfied with the results obtained from collaborations with photographers. I understood what my strengths are and based on these I was able to bring out myself. In fact, when I see the shots taken, I always have to say: "but is it me ?!" Taking photos helped me to get to know myself better and discover my limits and accept them. I am a very self-critical person so this is a great personal achievement for me.
I love taking portraits because it is not the body that speaks but the real protagonists are the eyes. You have to express what he felt through them and to do that you need to know each other thoroughly so that you know how to bring out every emotion and transmit it.

I thank all the people who helped me grow and improve myself. My biggest thanks goes to the photographer and friend who has allowed me to look out into this world again! A special thank you too for letting me tell my story.
