    Empecé como modelo en 2019, sin imaginar que ese sería solo el primer paso de un camino muy distinto.

    Al principio me encantaba estar frente a la cámara, jugar con la luz, con las poses, con la idea de expresar algo sin decir una palabra.

    Pero con el tiempo me di cuenta de que lo que realmente me apasionaba era mirar desde el otro lado, crear imágenes, construir atmósferas, contar algo a través de una foto.

     

    I started as a model in 2019, never imagining that it would be just the first step on a very different path.

    At first, I loved being in front of the camera—playing with light, with poses, with the idea of expressing something without saying a word.

Virginie Vanos (Région de Bruxelles, Belgique)

Après des humanités en section latin-grec-langues modernes, Virginie Vanos est passée tour à tour sur les planches, devant les caméras et des deux côtés de l'appareil photo. Nomade dans l’âme, mue par une immense soif de découverte, elle ne cesse de parcourir le monde, multipliant les voyages audacieux aux quatre coins de la planète.
Sa carrière d’auteure commence en 2004 avec la parution du premier de ses trois livres d’humour satirique. Depuis, outre deux œuvres philosophiques, elle a écrit un essai sur les dangers de la majorité silencieuse ainsi que trois romans d’inspiration largement autobiographique. Dans son dernier opus, un recueil de nouvelles, elle défend autant la cause animale que le droit d’être soi-même en dépit des normes et des conventions.
